Coronavirus COVID-19 – Awareness & Information

Platinum Federal Credit Union is dedicated to the safety, health and well-being of our communities. We are closely monitoring the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and taking the necessary precautions to protect our members, employees and communities. We are relying on information and recommendations from the CDC and the World Health Organization to aid our decision making and guide our preventative measures against the spread of the virus and other illnesses.

Some of the steps taken thus far include the enhancement of our daily cleaning and sanitation protocols, escalated usage of antiviral cleaning agents, posting of additional signage about proper hand washing and preventative measures, and reinforcement of other health-conscious best practices with our staff.

Currently, there are no impacts to our branches or business hours and our services remain uninterrupted. However, should the situation change, we want to remind you that you can access your accounts virtually anywhere, anytime with our mobile app and at www.PlatinumFCU.org. Using these digital tools, you can make deposits, payments, view transactions, transfer funds, check your balances, find an ATM and more.

REMOTE BANKING OPTIONS

MOBILE & PC BANKING
If you haven’t already, we encourage you to download our mobile app (Apple) (Android) and Enroll in our online banking services. If you have not already activated your online banking or have questions, please call 1(877) PFCU4YOU (732-8496) to talk to a Member Service Representative or visit one of our branches, if needed.

ATMs
Access your accounts using ATM’s on the PFCU Network i.e. CU HERE, CU Select and MoneyPass®. You can visit https://co-opcreditunions.org/locator/?ref=allco-op.org&sc=1 to find one near you.

DRIVE-THRUs
If you aren’t comfortable coming into the branch, remember our drive thru lanes in Georgia Branches offer the convenience of banking from your car. For Business deposits, you can use first drive-thru window in Decatur, GA and Lilburn, GA branches. However, Sugarloaf branch will not be able to accept business deposits via drive-thru. NIGHT-DROP
Business members can use the night-drop at each of the Georgia Branch locations and drop their deposits in Night-Drop instead of coming in the branch. Due to the Coronavirus emergency situation, Night Drop’s will be processed every hour, Mon-Fri 9 am till 5 om and Sat. 10 am till 2 pm.

Please also know Platinum Federal Credit Union (PFCU) has the appropriate business continuity plans enabling us to sustain operations should the situation require a change in hours and/or closure to our branch offices.

Annual Meeting
The annual meeting, which was supposed to be held on April 19, 2020, has been postponed. We will inform you of a future date for the meeting as we get more information from the CDC and World Health Organization as to when it is safe to be in a large gathering.
